The camera looks like a real video surveillance camera, but without the ability to capture images. It consists of the body, lens and support of a real video camera but without the internal electronics, to make it cheaper, so it is not possible at first glance to differentiate it from a camera that is working. It also has a sensor that detects movement, rotates the camera horizontally on its support and activates a red LED that flashes intermittently, thus improving the simulation.

Economical and easy to install, it can be used as a decoy, installing in plain sight and hiding the real CCTV system in a safe place. Thus, in the event of theft, the attacks will be produced against the simulated camera, while the real video surveillance system will be safe and will continue to capture all the images without being discovered. It can also be used without a backup system as a simple deterrent, preventing intrusions or vandalism in the presence of a camera.
