HOUSECURITY IP cameras are fully digital cameras, capable of connecting directly to a computer network via a network socket. These Full HD PoE IP cameras do not generate an analog television-type signal, but rather a digital video streaming ready to be managed via computer.
The management and recording of the cameras takes place from a PC with the supplied software or with network video recorders (NVR).

ONVIF Protocol for IP Cameras

All HOUSECURITY IP cameras and NVRs communicate using the ONVIF protocol , which, at the time of writing, is version 2.4. ONVIF is an important standardization in the IP video industry, the result of collaboration between the main manufacturers in the sector.
Thanks to this protocol, a HOUSECURITY IP camera can be integrated into any IP recording software or NVR from any manufacturer compatible with this standard. Similarly, with a HOUSECURITY NVR it is possible to manage IP cameras from other brands if they are ONVIF compatible.
