AHD DVR FEATURES

AHD (Analog High Definition) is an HD video transmission system over analog coaxial cable that allows HD transmission over long distances but at a very low cost to meet the requirements of any type of installation, from the simplest to the most complex.

The new AHD video surveillance DVR is a very modern video recorder in hybrid technology with professional features, therefore capable of supporting different operating configurations, namely: it manages up to 4 AHD video surveillance cameras with a max HD resolution of 720p, or as many as 8 FULL-HD IP cameras WITH 2.0 Mpx resolution (1080p)

High Definition AHD DVR

Hybrid AHD DVRs, compared to traditional video surveillance DVRs that could only record low-quality video streaming, generally in the old "D1" standard, of around 700 horizontal lines, or just 414,720 pixels, can instead support resolutions far superior to even 1,000,000 pixels like our AHD DVR 8008 which is capable of recording the new AHD cameras with standard coaxial connection without introducing any deterioration of the images. In particular, our DVR supports up to 8 AHD cameras with full "HD" resolution (720p), or alternatively up to 4 cameras for IP networks always with HD resolution and finally alternatively two IP cameras with very high definition and therefore with full FULL HD resolution (1080p) expressing even in these contexts a high frame rate of 25 frames per second for each single camera possibly interconnected.

AHD Technology

The advantage offered by DVRs and AHD cameras is easily evident in that this technology, despite its high performance, is still fully compatible with traditional analog video signal transmission systems, generally based on the common RG59 75 ohm coaxial cable. Therefore, this technology makes it possible to immediately replace an old low-performance video surveillance system with a modern AHD video surveillance system, simply by reusing the old coaxial cables that were previously laid for the installation of traditional video surveillance systems without having to make any changes.
